Cancellation and refund policy

The team registration fee secures one team’s place at Yukti '26 on Date to be announced at SCSVMV Central Library — Ground Floor. It covers a pitch slot, display space at the Innovation Expo, a participant ID card and lanyard for every member, a welcome kit, and a participation certificate. Audience entry is free and involves no payment.

A team may cancel any time up to 23 August 2026 and receive a full refund of the registration fee. Email ecell@kanchiuniv.ac.in from the team leader’s registered address, with the team name and payment reference.

Once registrations close on 23 August 2026 the fee is non-refundable, because kits, materials and catering are ordered against confirmed numbers from that point. A team that cannot attend may nominate replacement members from the same institution at no extra cost by writing to us before the event.

If E-Cell SCSVMV cancels the event, every paid team is refunded in full. If the event is postponed, your registration carries over to the new date, and you may request a full refund instead if the new date does not suit you.

Refunds are made to the original payment method through our payment gateway. Once approved, the amount usually reaches your account within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank. We refund the registration fee; the payment gateway fee shown separately at checkout is retained by the gateway and cannot be returned.

If money leaves your account but your registration is not confirmed, or you are charged twice, email us with the payment reference. Failed payments are normally reversed automatically by your bank within 5–7 working days; duplicate charges are refunded in full as soon as we verify them.
